The role

It is a very exciting time in the Group HR team as we get ready to launch a number of new and engaging initiatives across Logicalis, including our first ever Global EVP and Global Leadership Framework, to name a couple.  The role of the training and development manager is to work with each regional team to help design and deploy the global T&D strategy in line with regional priorities.  Working collaboratively while acting as a true T&D SME, will be at the heart of this roles success. There are multiple key stakes, so engagement and building strong relationships are fundamental for this role.
The Training & Development manager will ensure we achieve a successful balance of designing and deploying global content which addresses regional challenges.

The person

  • You will bring experience and passion for all things training and development.
  • You will have a clear emphasis on team work, building relationships and working collaboratively
  • You enjoy keeping up to date with latest people development thinking and weaving this knowledge into internal development solutions.
  • You will have a strong background in developing content for F2F delivery as well as virtual and eLearning solutions.
  • Enthusiastic and experienced in young talent development.
  • You will thrive on being involved in a range of different projects concurrently and comfortable in leading the deployment of global solutions in a collaborative approach.
  • You will have strong LMS knowledge and integration experience.
  • Confident in working alongside external providers to ensure the right solution for Logicalis.
  • You will be confident and experienced in identifying the value add and ROI of development solutions.

Accountabilities
Leadership Development

  • Play a lead role in the deployment and education of the new Leadership Framework
  • Work collaboratively with the content development team to develop the new ‘Leadership capability development program.  Utilising the best practise from existing programs from across the globe to design a solution that delivers the expectations of leadership in Logicalis
  • Support the delivery of both the Launch and leadership capability program.
  • Support the redesign of the Business skills academy for our technical leaders.
  • Support in the organisation and launch of the global leadership academy 2023.
  • Track and monitor the outcomes as a result of the various leadership programs

Young Talent Development

  • Scope the end-to-end learning experience for Logicalis’ Young Talent program
  • Working alongside the T&D director and Responsible Business Lead to identify the best format for Logicalis to adopt to deliver inspiring experiences while meeting business needs.
  • Identify suitable tracking processes and ROI delivered through the program, working alongside the internal communication team to share regular updates.
  • Work with regional HR teams to scope roles and responsibilities for successful deployment.
  • Take a lead role in developing the learning interventions ensuring the participants experience an engaging and inspiring program.

Global LMS design, configuration, and deployment plan

  • Responsible for designing our new global LMS platform structure, its configuration and learning pathways.  
  • Working with the T&D director and other global key stakeholders to identify the best solution for achieving fantastic end user experience. 
  • The deployment approach will involve working with each regional team to identify the roadmap for launch in each of the 4 regions.

Technical Team Development

  • Utilising the new LMS platform to identify opportunities to deliver development solutions that support the retention of our technical teams and employees
  • Working with the key stakeholders and the T&D Director to offer access to our strategic partner training modules via the LMS platform, offering a seamless access point for technical development

EVP Global Deployment

  • Working with each region to support the launch, deployment and embedding of the Global EVP

Workday

  • Work closely with the Workday team to optimise the platforms value to the business
  • Contribute to shaping the ‘people’ tools and process so Workday can be the supporting platform
  • Contribute to Logicalis’ migration to a self-service organisation

Your experience
Required:

  • An all-rounder Training & Development Manager with experience of working in a global role with regional key stakeholders.
  • Strong LMS experience 
  • Confident at development content for F2F delivery in particular Leadership development
  • Experienced at developing content for virtual delivery as well as E. Learning material
  • Experience of leading global content development projects to successful outcomes
  • Strong knowledge & experience of Workday
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Team player
  • Good understanding of highlighting T&D related ROI
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Confident in managing third party suppliers.
